Leslie Feist's talents shift almost as constantly as her attention. Amid whimsical covers of songs from Francoise Hardy and the Bee Gees, the Canadian-bred Paris habitue also composes her own captivating compositions, most notably the lilting fairy-dust ditty "Mushaboom" and bedroomripe "One Evening." Let It Die might be too low-impact for some, but if it's a grand bed of roses they want, they're welcome to look elsewhere.
